Motorcycle Noise - An Issue Which Motorcyclists Need to Address

Excessive noise from motorcycle exhausts can cause many cagers to cringe - of course, they don't go after the 'import tuner' or the 'diesel Dodge' crowd who are just as load and are more numerous than us. (Reason: numbers, plain and simple; politicians know that motorcyclists only make up about 5% of the population here.) In Rye, New Hampshire, police set up a checkpoint to test motorcycles for noise, and only seven were cited for sound in excess of 106 decibels (that's load, but it all depends on the test the police used as to how accurate it is).
