Motorcycle Safety - USA is the Worst

It appears that the American attitude toward safety while riding a motorcycle is not very inspiring. Too many people get out and ride with significantly less than ATGATT (All The Gear All The Time) - and they pay for it with trips to the ER and the morgue. As a culture, we need to wake up and take responsibility for our own safety. At this point, it may be too late and legislation may have to force it upon us (funny, Americans always have to have safety forced on them).
