The European Union is working to crack down on motorcycle emissions now. They want to put strict requirements on how much CO2 our two-wheeled machines can emit. It's not something which should surprise anyone, and the manufacturers have been waiting for something like this to come down. The real questions, though, are what standards will be set, and how much will it cost to meet those goals.

GoldenTyre Becomes Spec Tire for FIM SuperMoto World Championship
All teams in the 2010 FIM SuperMoto World Championship will be riding on GoldenTyre rubber. Not sure if this is something everyone expected or if GoldenTyre has been there since the series went to one-brand control tire rules. In either case, the Italian tire company is well-respected in the industry and should continue to provide great shoes for the bikes in that championship.

Supermoto Greece Grand Prix Results
Third place overall rider Thomas Chareyre had a fantastic trip to Greece - he won both S1 races there and pulled himself within 25 points of the series leader, Thierry van den Bosch. He also added to the already huge points total for Husqvarna in the manufacturer's championship, giving them the lead. Fellow Husqvarna rider in the S2 class, Gérald Delepine, took home two second places which pulled him closer to series leader Adrien Chareyre, also on a Husqvarna. Adrien Chareyre and Davide Gozzini took wins in the S2 class...

World Supermoto Results from Pas de la Casa
The usual suspects take the podium in the S1 class, Husqvarna's Thomas Chareyre is first with points leader Thierry van den Bosch taking third at the fog-shortened event. In the S2 class, Husqvarna's Adrien Chareyre took the win. And, in the S3 class, we saw Angel Karanyotov take yet another win on his way to the UEM Championship.

Results Come in From Italy - FIM World SuperMoto
From the S1 and S2 classes, two brothers took victory at the event; Chareyre brother Thomas took the S1, and Adrien Chareyre took a win in the S2 series. Overall winner of the S3 was Bulgarian Angel Karanyotov. The second half of race day was done in the wet.

SuperMoto World Championship Kicks off in Italian Heat
You may have heard that Italy is suffering through a heat wave. It certainly did - and will continue to - effect the racing in that nation.
