Rossi has a point here - no one in a prototype series wants to limit power to provide for durability. Next year, in the MotoGP series, only six engines will be allowed to be used for the entire 2010 season. Rossi is more fearful that the fans will suffer because no one will be able to push their motorcycles to the very limit of what they can do...as I said, he has a good point and someone should listen...

Rossi was also quoted as supporting the move to 1000c.c. machines in MotoGP - and removal of 70% of the electronics should also be mandated. He says - again, rightly so - that the riders should be the focus of MotoGP racing.
