First Look: CR&S Duu Cruiser in the Open

It is supposed - again - to be debuted at the EICMA Milan show, but CR&S has already released several photos and only a tiny amount of information about the new Duu. It will have a S&S sourced 1,916cc V-twin motor, some rather interesting styling - only an Italian company could create this motorcycle - and an estimated 2011 release date. They expect to only sell a few, but the price is not unreasonable at around €20,000. Just have a look and see whether it will ever grace your garage with its presence...

Another Ride: The CR&S Vun - A Different Bike for a Different Crowd

This is the second riding impression I have come across for this motorcycle and I am posting another one because of just how stylish this bike looks and it is just so well suited for racing. Well, it is a different machine - it runs the BMW/Rotax 650cc single from the BMW Funduro and is covered in carbon-fiber bodywork, but CR&S (Cafe Racers and Superbikes) may be on to something here. The bike is compact and handles very well - and it is very powerful for its light weight, but it vibrates a great deal in the upper reaches of its powerband. When you purchase one of these £9,999, you also must have enough money to paint it and add any accessories and options you choose from the extensive catalog. This would make an excellent track-day weapon and might even fit within a local racing class...I would certainly consider it!

CR&S VUN Riding Impression and Review - U.K.

Since we cannot get them here in the US - at least, not yet, and it will probably be a gray-market item - we will have to live vicariously through the Europeans who own them. CR&S builds, by hand, a small number of motorcycles each year in Milan. They are rather stylish and beautiful and you pay for that when you buy one. However, they are definitely eye-catching!
