An Exercise in Logo Placement - JGR/Toyota Motocross Bike Concept

The 2009 YZR450F that this concept dirt bike is based on is hard to find underneath all of the changes - and the numerous Toyota logos. It figures that this comes from a NASCAR shop (the motocross team helped with the design) given the corporate logo coverage. Go ahead, try to count them all. Anyway, it is thoroughly lightened and very highly tuned and was displayed at the SEMA show in Las Vegas recently. Have a look, but don't expect to buy as it is a one-off.

Yamaha Motor Japan Has Sent 270 Employees to Toyota

At least they were not laid off like many people are these days (including your dear blog writer), but they will not be building motorcycles. Instead, they will be working for Toyota on the Prius production line until either December or March. On another front, a Yamaha subsidiary sent 40 workers to Nissan. These times sure are a-changin'...We all have to try to make it better in any way that we can...

Yamaha Reveals Hybird in Europe
