Australian Chris Holder has become the 2010 Australian Solo Speedway. It was a tight race, not to mention that Holder entered the final event four points behind first place rider Troy Batchelor. Holder will go on to compete in the 2010 FIM Speedway Grand Prix season. He is a rather highly ranked competitor, so Jason Crump had better watch out...

Man Travels the USA, Gets to Eugene, Oregon, and His BMW is Stolen!
Perhaps he should have known better, but not many people from other states understand the level of crime in the state of Oregon. (I've only been here five years and already I have had more thefts and break-ins than I experienced in my entire life before moving here.) Ian Hintz, from Wisconsin, was traveling across the great USA only to have his BMW R1200GS stolen from downtown Eugene, Oregon last night. He had his passport, money and Social Security card in a side bag on the bike when it was taken...I wish him luck in finding his ride!

Out of Virginia and North Carolina - Motorcycle Thieves Arrested!
OK, so this may not actually meet my criteria for posting here...but, then again, all news about motorcycle thieves being caught and arrested is still 'motorcycle news'.
This comes from a Norfolk, Virginia, USA TV station's online news section. These guys were not running a huge operation, but their victims in the Newport News, Hampton and Virginia Beach areas will be happy to know they are off the streets.
