Josh Coppins Will Race for Aprilia in World Motocross Championship

He replaced retiring rider and legend Stefan Everts at Yamaha in 2007 was just released from that team at the end of the 2009 season - due to economic trouble at Yamaha. Well, it was thought he would return to Australia to race since he had been on the world stage for 13 years. Aprilia, though, has convinced him to ride their MXV 4.5 in the MX1 class for 2010. He could become the very first world motocross champion on a V-twin.

2009 Aprilia 450 MXV First Ride Review

Lovely motorcycle and legal in some series - but banned in AMA competition - races around the world...the Aprilia 450 MXV. I would prefer the SXV, but this machine would certainly do the trick on a course!
