Stuart Easton Speaks on BSB Testing & Lake Havasu XDl Freestyle

From the man himself, Stuart Easton gives us his perspective on his testing so far in preparation for the 2010 British Superbike Championship. Most riders were in Spain at a track in Cartagena for last week, and Easton was right there among them. He did quite well in the testing and is finding his new teammate, James Ellison, very agreeable. We can only wait for the season to start to see if Easton gained what he needed for some good finishes...

More Sunday Afternoon Moto News - Supercross Results

After waiting a little longer than I thought, we have results from yesterday's Phoenix round of the AMA Supercross. Ryan Dungey captured his first ever Supercross win at the event and Jake Weimer took his second consecutive AMA Supercross Lites Western Regional victory. James Stewart crashed hard in a heat race, but still came back and won his last chance heat race to get a start in the main. The 2010 season is shaping up to be a very hard fought competition between some of the best off-road racers in the world - don't miss another round or you will be sorry!

XDL Championship Announces 2010 Schedule

A New Electric Motorcycle Enters - The Jim Corning PrometheusSolar

Corning started out by converting a Kawasaki motorcycle to run on electricity (meaning that about all of the bike still made by Kawasaki was the frame, forks, and maybe wheels). This time, though, it is different. He has designed his PrometheusSolar from the ground up. Some very cool technology has been applied to his design - including a double control arm front suspension - and it will make 100 mph and go for 100 miles on one charge. It could be the beginning of another entrant into the production electric motorcycle industry.

Arizona Raids Safety and Environmental Funds to Pay Off Deficit

The money was promised elsewhere - to a recycling fund (drained like a vampire victim), Motorcycle Safety Fund (a voluntary fund whose sole purpose is to promote motorcycle awareness and safety), State Superfund (you know, cleaning up extremely contaminated areas which pose huge threats to plant, animal and human life) - but the government of Arizona is desperate for the money as they seem to have little idea how to handle budgeting. Too many tax breaks and too much corporate welfare can do that to a state. Anyway, there is no reason to believe that the money which was promised (yes, you were lied to Arizona residents) to these programs will ever be returned...
