BMW GS Competition from Moto Guzzi - Stelvio 1200 4V/NTX

With yet another entry on Moto Guzzi, you might think I am an Italophile - well, I AM, and I make no excuses for it (since I have a second street machine - a Honda - the good and reliable Japanese). Unfortunately, I have only ridden a Guzzi once...something I hope to fix someday soon!

With the Stelvio introduced to the moto press at the EICMA show in Milan back in 2007, many viewers thought it an amazing looking machine. But, they also doubted it could hold up against the stiff competition from BMW, KTM, or any of the Japanese companies. Well, that is still to be seen...but, this company - who produces less than 10,000 bikes a year- is keen and very good! And, the Stelvio demonstrates this to the world.
