The First BMW S1000RR Dyno Test in U.K. - 183HP at Rear Wheel!

BMW was not exaggerating about the power in their new supersport bike - in fact, they were under-estimating. According to a report from the United Kingdom, the S1000RR was placed on a dyno twice - once back with an earlier model (it was a secret test just now revealed) it produced 182 HP. With this test, they have said that it is likely the BMW has 200 HP at the crank! That is much more than BMW admitted to when they released it - in fact, there were apparently political issues about acknowledging the true power of the bike...
