MSS Colchester Kawasaki rider Gary Mason has been using some unusual techniques to get ready for the 2010 British Superbike Championship season. Mason took the Privateer crown last year, but this year he will be a full-on Superbike racer. He wants to be ready for it, so he is getting himself healthy. For more, please take the link.

Monster Energy - well known energy drink producer - has teamed up with Dorna, rights holder to MotoGP, to sponsor the Le Mans round of the MotoGP Championship. Friday Morning Moto News - WSBK, Brookes for Parkes & Gary Mason

The World Superbike Championship teams have all taken their equipment down to Phillip Island for the second official test of the 2010 season. The testing action actually begins on Sunday (21 February) and will go through the following day. The injured Broc Parkes will be replaced on his Echo CRS Honda WSBK team by racer Josh Brookes. It marks the return of Brookes to WSBK after being away for two years. The deal only goes through the first race at Phillip Island, but it could be extended...

In the BSB paddock, Gary Mason is going for the Championship! Of course, all riders in the fields will want to do that, and most will figure they have some chance of it at the beginning of the season. More Morning Moto News - MSS Colchester & Silverstone

MSS Colchester Kawasaki is due to have a very busy 2010. They will be competing in the BSB Championship, the National Superstock Championship and the Isle of Man TT. The will have at least four riders and will also be developing technology in conjunction with the Paul Bird WSBK team. They will not have much time to relax, but it will certainly give them a chance to take home some titles and learn enough to give them a chance at each and every round.

The Silverstone track is just about ready to host racing at the track. They have made some improvements - some major, others minor - which should lead to a very fast and challenging circuit for the various series which will grace their paddock. The MotoGP round will certainly keep everyone's eyes glued to the event as they try to see if the new track is fast enough for those professionals...

MSS Colchester Kawasaki Now Has Andrews and Mason for 2010 BSB

Colchester Kawasaki is a big organization, fielding teams in many motorcycle race series throughout the UK. Their primary effort, though, is to be see in British Superbike. On that team, they will retain Simon Andrews and have added the very experienced Gary Mason for 2010. The two riders have a similar style and it should be a very solid team.

Tommy Bridewell Signs with Quay Garage for 2010 BSB Championship

Bridewell is very happy to be joining the team which, along with Gary Mason, took the British Superbike Cup Championship. The team has not even decided on a bike to run in 2010 as they are still in talks with manufacturers; lats season they campaigned a Honda CBR1000RR.

Mason won the BSB Superbike Cup - the series for privateers run in conjunction with the British Superbike Championship - and now his team believes they can run at the front with the factory-supported BSB racers. Gary Mason Wants to Run at Front of BSB Pack

He has already wrapped up his Mirror.co.uk Privateer's Cup, but he wants to run with the factory teams in the British Superbike Championship. He has a chance of landing a factory ride, but there are only three more races at one location - Oulton Park - this weekend. Sponsor Leaves Quay Garage BSB Team for 2010

So, for next year, title sponsor, Quay Garage, will not be supporting the British Superbike Cup rider Gary Mason. This comes after Mason handed them the Championship in that series with two rounds remaining. Sad news, but they are certain to pick up another sponsor by next season.
