Well, it is sort of a Hyperbike comparison; he only puts the BMW K1300S up against the Suzuki Hayabusa, leaving out such bikes as the Kawasaki ZX-14R, but he has a reason for it - Kawasaki did not have one ready for him to ride. For some pleasurable reading and to see how the two stack up against each other (they have admittedly different purposes), take the link.

Speaking of AMA Supercross, we have an interview with Suzuki team manager Roger DeCoster which is mainly focused on the young star Ryan Dungey. Apparently, DeCoster took a real gamble when hiring the Minnesota native. To hear how he came to the decision, take the link.

TapouT and Cycle World International Motorcycle Shows Bring You Meet the Fighters and VooDoo Customs
Long title, but it is a long list of participants! Suzuki has worked with VooDoo Industries will be presenting the TapouT Tribute Suzuki on Friday, 4 December 2009. It's a small world; I was just speaking with Rob Uecker while he was on the road to this event. When he arrives and sets up, they will be presenting a lovely Hayabusa customized by VooDoo for the TapouT fighters, Punkass and Skyskrape. I think you will be impressed, but you be the judge - we will see them this weekend after they are shown to the TapouT fans in their Lounge.

Indian Patent Dispute Causes Experts to Question Twin-Spark Technology
It seems that twin-spark plugs in an engine provide little benefit when the combustion chamber is properly designed. Examples are given with the Yamaha YZF-R1 and the Suzuki Hayabusa; both are at the top of the performance charts and yet both do just fine with one spark plug per cylinder...Interesting reading, but short.
