And, More Afternoon Moto News - Racing Insider, Hyperbike Comparo & Roger DeCoster

Yep, the fourth edition of Alex Gobert's "Racing Insider" is no up and available for reading. As usual, he covers World Superbike, Australian Superbike, MotoGP, British Superbike, AMA Supercross and Australian Motocross. So, get some inside information about each series and you just might learn something.

Well, it is sort of a Hyperbike comparison; he only puts the BMW K1300S up against the Suzuki Hayabusa, leaving out such bikes as the Kawasaki ZX-14R, but he has a reason for it - Kawasaki did not have one ready for him to ride. For some pleasurable reading and to see how the two stack up against each other (they have admittedly different purposes), take the link.

Speaking of AMA Supercross, we have an interview with Suzuki team manager Roger DeCoster which is mainly focused on the young star Ryan Dungey. Apparently, DeCoster took a real gamble when hiring the Minnesota native. To hear how he came to the decision, take the link.

Suzuki Announces Their 2010 AMA Supercross Racing Team

That's what it says, so I am going with it. Suzuki's team will be managed by Roger DeCoster and will consist of Ryan Dungey and the new Australian Supercross Champion, Matt Moss - both will be in the 450c.c. class. Austin Stroupe will race in the Lites class for them - no more details on that at this time. But, as you know, the team will be working much more closely with Yoshimura in 2010.

Interviews with Ben Bostrom, Jeff Wood, Mel Harder, Roger DeCoster, Michael Nasakaitis

This is a sweet set of interviews which were done shortly after the Suzuki Big Kahuna Nationals at VIR. Here we have Bostrom and Wood from the AMA Pro Racing series; there is Operations SVP Mel Harder of Indianapolis Motor Speedway; from motocross we have Suzuki Team Manager DeCoster; from Suzuki City team we get Michael Nasakaitis. Plus, we get a segment of Pit Pass Radio!
