Dye built his shop with an idea of selling electric motorcycles to the masses - he was a pioneer! He started the first - and only surviving - all-electric motorcycle dealership. He got the idea after visiting a theme-city in Orlando, Florida where 90% of the vehicles are electric. This gave him the idea to start his business in Salem, Oregon.
