Knutsford Honda, a rather influential dealer in the UK, will again be the title sponsor for this year's Thundersprint race in Northwich during 8 - 9 May 2010. The dealer has had a great deal of success at the event and is more than happy to be a part of it again this year. Thundersprint is growing larger and larger and has gained an importance felt throughout Europe. The 2010 event will be the best yet!

MORE Evening Moto News - Honda 3R-C EV & River Ranch GNCC

Honda has released information on their new three-wheeled electric vehicle. It sits somewhere between a motorcycle and a car, but it certainly looks closer to the two-wheeled machines given the way it leans and how you ride the thing. It is supposed to be all-electric but there are few other details; it is a concept vehicle, after all. It looks rather fun to me!

The River Ranch GNCC round is coming up on 2 March 2010 in the town of Lake Wales, Florida. It is part of the 2010 Can-Am Grand National Cross Country motorcycle racing series. It is a special time for New Zealander Paul Whibley, who is also the defending champion, as he prepares to defend his title. This year he rides with the Am-Pro Yamaha team this season...and he is ready to ride...

Tuseday Afternoon and More Moto News - Paul Whibley and BSB Superstock

Paul Whibley, a New Zealander, has been on a winning path for a long time now, and they say he may be the hottest off-road racer in the US. He has now decided to join Randy Hawkins-run AmPro Yamaha Team and will ride a WR450F in the 2010 GNCC series. His teammates will be Barry Hawk and Thad DuVall. This is interesting news, to say the least, and he might be trying to find another few championships...

Over in the BSB Superstock Championships, the Metzeler Racetec Interact will be used as the control tire for this incredibly competitive series. It is a very well-constructed tire and should only improve the quality of the racing. Given the huge number of already legendary motorcycle road racers who will be looking for the title this year in that series, 2010 is going to be one hell of a good season!

Paul Whibley Stuns Competitors and Has Perfect Season in OMA Series

Whibley had already won the GNCC title last week and now he goes down in the record books after winning every single Parts Unlimited Off-Road Motorcycle and ATV Nationals race in 2009. It was even surprising to Whibley who seemed at a loss for words when he was interviewed after his win at last weekend's Moose Run in Fenton, Illinois. It's a great story and one which will not soon be forgotten!

Paul Whibley Takes 2009 GNCC Championship at Ironman GNCC

Whibley came to the finish in fourth place at the Crawfordsville, Indiana event, but it was enough for him to take home the championship as well. It was a three-way fight for the win and Nate Kanney took his KTM to the top spot by only inches - it was his first GNCC Championship victory. Filling out the podium - and any one of them could have taken any position there - were Suzuki's Charlie Mullins and Josh Strang. The weekend saw the largest attendance of the season as well...
