There is not a lot beyond a photo, but the Rizla Suzuki MotoGP team has now shown us what their Suzuki GSV-R will look like for the 2010 season. Riders Loris Capirossi and Alvaro Bautista will look good riding one of these...And, I almost forgot, Troy Lee Designs was at the helm of this design!

Thursday Afternoon Moto News - Steve Rapp Interview & Day in the Dirt
Yep, we get ourselves an interview with one of the fastest riders in the Daytona 200 practice, Steve Rapp. Just a few weeks ago he was at home with no ride. The Latus Ducati team signed him up and put him on their 848 machine and he took the reins and ran with it. So, what has he been up to? How does he see the 2010 AMA Pro Racing season? Well, take the link and read about it!

For the 13th time, the Day in the Dirt race - they say 'the Burning Man of off-road racing' - was held back around Thanksgiving of last year. Too bad this is the first report from this year's even that I have seen. The author takes part with thanks to Troy Lee Designs, sponsor of the event, and gets to ride with some legends of the sport. The best part of the entire race, though, is that FUN is of utmost importance - everyone should have a great time while competing! Take the link and enjoy the story...

Tuesday Night Moto News - Troy Lee Designs and Rizla Suzuki
There are some better photos somewhere on the 'Net, but the linked piece is solid and explains everything. Troy Lee Designs will be doing the livery for the 2010 Rizla Suzuki MotoGP team's bikes. Given how busy he has been helping to raised funds for the Haiti Earthquake (have you given yet?), it is a wonder where he finds the time. It is sure to be a decent design...and we get to see it at Qatar in March. Should be good!

Even MORE Afternoon Moto News - NHRA, XDL & Haiti
The NHRA is changing things up at the zMAX Dragway in North Carolina - they are running four lanes now instead of two. It does sound odd, but it is true, at least for this event. Some like it, some despise it, but it will happen - most people were surprised by the NHRA approval for it in the first place. The event will be held 26 - 28 March 2010.

During the 2010 Daytona Bike Week, the XDL Sportbike Freestyle Championship will be held at Daytona International Speedway during 26 - 28 February. This is the first time that the XDL will make the trip to Florida, believe it or not, and this event will certainly add something more to Bike Week - so much to do and so little time!

Help Haiti! Famed workout freak Jillian Michaels is auctioning off her Troy Lee customized 2007 Yamaha FZ1, with all proceeds going to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund. Michaels has friends in the nation and traveled there a while back in search of direction for her life, so Haiti is close to her heart. The auction price was up to US$16,000 the last time I checked, so she will be contributing a great deal to the cause. If you want to help, either bid on the bike or make your own donation - there are several charities helping out, find the one you like and give them some cash!

Friday Evening Moto News - Kenya Concours and TLD Helmets
First up is the announcement that the regulations for the 2010 AccessKenya Africa Concours d’Elegance have been approved. The Concours will have 12 classes for automobiles and 8 for motorcycles. The event will be held on 26 September 2010 and it will be held at the Nairobi Racecourse in Nairobi Kenya. It is amazing how many groups have an interest in this event; they all have to agree to the rules and regulations before the event can be held. It sure would make for a great holiday!

Troy Lee Designs has managed to procure a three year licensing deal with the estate of the late Steve McQueen, the king of cool (to many). They will be producing a limited edition line of helmets featuring the likeness of McQueen. Even their sponsored Supercross riders will be sporting them at this weekend's event in Anaheim, California. Only 700 will be made and they will retail for US$525. So, get yours soon, if you can afford it!
