Alpinestars has teamed up with band Angels & Airwaves to produce a line of t-shirts which will be sold to benefit Riders for Health. The idea is not new, but it is a very good one. Anything earned by these shirts to help aid workers in Africa get around to help people is a positive step. Recently, as you know if you have been following this blog, London's Ace Cafe held their Ace Cafe London Motorcycle & Custom Show (it was last weekend at Alexandra Palace), also known as Ally Pally. The winners of the various event classes have now been disclosed to the public and are available on the other side of this link. At least one of the winners will be taking a trip to South Dakota for the Sturgis rally!

MORE Afternoon Moto News - Beach and Beaubier, Shane Byrne & WSBK Preview (again)

J.D. Beach and Cameron Beaubier will both be racing for Rockwall Honda in the AMA Pro Racing SuperSport East series. Both riders are still quite young, but they both also have many years of experience already. This pairing should be a powerhouse team in the SuperSport class. During the World Superbike qualifying at Phillip Island in Australia, Shane Byrne crashed hard and hurt his back. It is so severe that it may keep him out of this weekend's racing at the track. He was chasing Checa at the time, so he was certainly pushing himself. Let's hope he gets some rest and gets back in the saddle before Sunday!

Honda Launches Mick Extance Honda Off-Road Experience in U.K.

Honda has teamed up with Paris-Dakar legend Mick Extance to create the new riding experience. On offer will be Honda's best off-road weapons on which they will take everyone from beginners to experts to teach them better off-road riding skills. There are two fantastic locations; for MX it is Fat Cat Moto Parc in Armthorpe near Doncaster and for Enduro it will be based in Llangynog in North Wales. The entry fee is actually rather reasonable and the experience itself is invaluable. So, get in touch with them and schedule your day in the dirt (or mud, as it is Great Britain).
