Motorcycling Victoria has just opened their new digs today in the city of Port Melbourne. The Port Phillip Mayor, Cr. Frank O’Connor, was even on hand at the opening. It is an exciting time for the group as they will now have extra space from which to expand their services and capabilities. Nice to see a little more positive news once in a while...

Davi Millsaps had apparently been unknowingly taking a supplement with Creatine in it (it is NOT a banned substance in this or many other sports). This caused the Honda rider some problems with his racing. Now that he is no longer using it he is doing much better. This could lead to a better AMA Supercross season...with so many injured...we will see...

Brembo has announced some serious upgrades to some existing products and some ten new models of motorcycle products. Their new "T-Drive" disc system is sure to impress. Brembo will certainly change some concepts in motorcycle braking - they even have a very cool brake clamp for naked bikes which includes a mount for mirrors and Ducati compatibility. Even Brembo Is Struggling in this Economy

This horrible economy is taking away a great deal from our sport; motorcycling is suffering greatly with this recession, and we can only hope it will get better soon. Brembo has had to lay off hundreds (closer to thousands) of workers, shut down some production lines, and even rid itself of several executives. Their profits are down, and the company is having a tough time of it. If they were to fail, the loss to our industry - not to mention the performance auto industry - would be dramatic. I doubt that will happen, but there will be some tough quarters ahead for them.

Kenny Noyes Gets Practice Time on His Antonio Banderas Racing Moto2 Motorcycle

Noyes was only recently added to the Banderas team due to his performance in a Spanish Championship (where he still has two races to run this year for Kawasaki), and he had to share the one race bike they have with teammate Joan Olivé. The team will be using a Harris frame, Ohlins suspension, and Brembo brakes. Noyes enjoyed the easy handling nature of the Moto2 machine and he feels that he will be able to handle this machine in any race in 2010.

Rossi Leads List of Late Breakers from Brembo

Brembo took data from the qualifying session and put together a list of who brakes last before entering a chosen corner. Just read the list...it will make sense.
