Very Nice Detailed Story of Kings of Wanneroo 2009 in Australia

The Kings of Waneroo has seen a great deal of press in the U.K. and it is not wonder. Some of the best racers from there, Ireland and Australia all got together for a one weekend racing series for the second time. It went very well as many spectators attended just to see some of the greats which don't get Down Under all that often. As we now know Jonathan Rea won the overall event for 2009. The real question asked here, though, is if there will be another one in 2010.

Big Chnages Ahead for Irish Racer Michael Pearson

He had a very good 2009 in the racing series consisting of mostly real roads - not tracks. He won the Cock O’ the North race and took top honors again at the season finale, Killalane Road Races. He did ride both Yamaha and Honda in 2009, but for 2010 he will be on a Kawasaki - thanks to his sponsor and MSS Kawasaki. He's on his way up!

British Supermoto Championship Season Finale at Kirkistown, N. Ireland

The season in British Supermoto will end at a rather unusual race in Northern Ireland at the Kirkistown circuit. This is due to the P & O Winter series joining the British series at the same venue for the weekend. Almost every Irish supermoto racer will be in attendance and you may even find some World Superbike or TT riders running on the track as well. If you can get there, go!

The 1st Armoy Motorcycle Club Race - Armoy Armada Race of Legends

This coming weekend in Armoy, Ballymoney, Northern Ireland (please forgive me if my American addressing system fails here), Hugh O'Kane will be hosting the first ever Armoy Motorcycle Club Race - a race billed as "The Race of Legends". The race will be the final race in the 2009 Ulster Championship. Mr. O'Kane will put on display a HUGE collection of classic and vintage motorcycles in his shop on New Street. If you happen to be in the neighborhood, this is an event not to miss! Swim there if you must!

Your 3 Pound entry fee will go to charity; Mr. O'Kane's wife of nearly 50 years passed away on July 6 and the entry fees will go to continue the good work of Marie Currie and Hospice.
