The Next Question: Can Harley-Davidson Survive This Economy

I am not sure that I agree with everything in this blog post - some of it does show the author's lack of specific Harley-Davidson knowledge - but it is insightful. I would not compare H-D to Hummer, though, as H-D has much more history and the cache that comes with that past sells plenty of motorcycles. Given their cash situation and the pure passion with which people want to purchase and ride a Harley, I think they will survive - it just may get a little more painful for them in the next few financial quarters...
