New Appointments in FIM Speedway World Championships

Ole Olson is ending his tenure as FIM Race Director for the FIM World Speedway Championship. He has held the position since the creation of the FIM Speedway Grand Prix in 1985 - and he will be greatly missed. Assistant Race Director Tony Olsson will take over Olsen's position upon his departure on 17 October 2009. Changes are afoot...
