MV ON TOUR 2010

Varese, February 15th, 2010 – After the success of Brutale on Tour 2009, we introduce MV on Tour, a travelling demonstration which will lead the brand new Brutale motorcycles to visit the best European cities and the F4 motorcycles on the best circuits.
From February to July thousands of Km will be covered to visit the best European cities and some of the worship places for motorcyclists. A non-stop tour of Europe to let the MV enthusiasts “live” a unique and unrepeatable experience: try the new MV Agusta generation. All this is MV on Tour 2010, the event that will start on February 18th next in the Dutch city of Utrecht.
Brutale on Tour will have as leaders the brand new Brutale 990R and 1090RR motorcycles which will be tried on road under the guidance of skilled foreriders. In this way all motorcyclists will be able to be tuned with the power of the new 4-cylinder MV engines from 998cc to 1078cc, and “have a proof” of the exceptional gifts of the incredible chassis and the new traction control adjustable on 8 levels.
Madrid, Rome, Florence, Nürburgring, Paris are only some of the cities that will be visited by Brutale on Tour and on July 11th it will end at Cascina Costa on the MV Agusta Revival, “holy” event for all motorcycle enthusiasts who have built the story of motorcycling… and who will carry on building it.
Instead F4 on Tour will offer the chance to all enthusiasts of trying the exceptional F4 on circuit. The most beautiful and fastest motorcycle in the world will be tested on some of the best and compelling circuits, some of them being stages of meetings of the MotoGP and Superbike world races, such as Misano, Hockenheim, Vallelunga and the new circuit of Motorland in Spain.

Tuesday Morning Moto News - MV Agusta, Bimota & Aprilia

A new Italian firm has just announced a very special MV Agusta Brutale model - the Tamburini T1. It is full of exotic parts which can only be sourced from a company set up by Massimo Tamburini's son, Andrea Tamburini, called Tamburini Corse. It is in the old MV Corse stomping grounds of San Marino and makes parts and accessories exclusively for MV Agusta and Ducati motorcycles. You will notice that, in the photos, they have modified a pre-2010 model Brutale just to show what can be done. Have a look, I am sure you will be pleased.

Over at the RareSportBikes for Sale blog, there is a listing for a 2008 Bimota DB6R, a very special machine indeed. It is the top-end model of the DB6 range and comes with all of the lovely unobtanium parts and accessories that you could ever want. This bike belonged to the importer - former importer - and only has 1100 miles on the clock. Plus, it is full US-spec. It is worth a look!

Another riding impression of a 2010 Aprilia RS125, but this one was tested in the US. The bike is well-sorted and built for track duty or just simple racing. It is light, handles well, and is designed to get you around a track as fast as a 125c.c. two-stroke is capable of doing. Take a look and you may want one for yourself.

Deep Look: 2010 MV Agusta Brutale

Yes, there have been several posts here on the new MV Agusta Brutale machines - the 990R and the 1090RR. Here is a sort of wrap-up of all of the detailed videos which show us how the engineers at MV Agusta put together these lovely machines. So, pull up a chair, click the link and learn some Italian design.

Mostly Photos - 2010 MV Agusta Brutale 1090RR at EICMA Show

Thia is pretty much just photos - but, you at least get to see two colors in which the MV Agusta Brutale 1090RR will be sold in in 2010. So, for the fun of it, head on over and click some photos - you might just find yourself owning one very soon...

Nicely Accessorized MV Agusta Brutale 990R

Though I am an MV guy, through and through, I am not sure all of this stuff works for me - don't get me wrong, I love the carbon fiber everywhere, who doesn't? But, the odd carbon muffler tips? Not sure I like those as much as the previous version's stock setup. When you look at this specific 990R in the photos, you can really tell the detail differences between the first and second-generation Brutale. It's still the best looking (stock) naked on the market now.

JeanRichard Announces New Chronoscope “Brutale” Collection

They have had some Brutale and MV Agusta related watches before - many of them, including the Ago watch recently released - but this is a redesigned line of watches dedicated to the MV Agusta Brutale. The construction is very top end, and so are the prices! But, if you have it in your heart to own every piece associated with the MV Agusta marque, you cannot miss owning one of these. They are very beautiful, high tech, and something to behold - I want one!

GREAT SUCCESS for MV AGUSTA GROUP at EICMA 2009

Varese, 16 November 2009 – Great success for MV Agusta Group on the 67th International Motorcycle Show which ended last Sunday at the exhibition centre in Milan.

Fervour was felt at MV Agusta and Cagiva stand by the large audience, who felt to be fascinated for the first live viewing of the new F4 and Brutale. F4, in its technical and aesthetic contents, is the extreme synthesis of sportsmanship, performances and design. Brutale, presented in double version: 990 R and 1090RR, renovates and enriches the technological contents with a strong personality and the distinctive style of the bike that has by now become an icon of Made in Italy in the world.

The new models have been so appreciated as to collect orders by far higher than the expectations in the few days of the event.

The great success was therefore confirmed with the real interest of the sales network, of the customers and of the passionate audience.

The guests, passionate of the MV Agusta brand, were so many who visited our stand.

Among the most cheered guests were the ever much awarded rider Giacomo Agostini, the showgirl Belen Rodriguez, Prince Emanuele Filiberto of Savoy and the football World Champion Marco Materazzi.

Yet Another Cool Video from MV Agusta - 2010 Brutale Engine Video

We have already seen the video highlighting the frame and chassis of the new 2010 MV Agusta Brutale 990r and 1090RR. MV Agusta has now released a video which focuses on the engine details of the 990c.c. motor. They sure know how to use publicity! However, they also make motorcycle art!

MV Agusta Releases Video Highlighting Chassis Details of New Brutale

MV Agusta is full of technology freaks - and the owners are often just the same - and they love to talk about the engineering behind their motorcycles. Well, there are always some secrets. In this video, we see the new (and some old) chassis highlights which grace the new series of Brutale models - Brutale 990R and Brutale 1090RR.

First Video Look at New MV Agusta Brutale 1090RR

Apparently, the videographer for this video was invited to the press launch of the 2010 Brutale 990R and 1090RR and managed to mount a camera on the tank. I am not sure of who it is presently, but it is worth a watch - and a listen - as this will be the premier naked bike to be introduced in 2010!

Riding Impression: 2010 MV Agusta Brutale 990R

Though this is not a riding impression of the upper-end model, the Brutale 1090RR, it is a good representation of what differences you can expect between this model - the Brutale 990R - and the previous Brutale 910 and 989c.c. models. As expected, it is a power-hungry beast on the road and is one of - if not the - best naked superbikes on the market. Well, if you have ever ridden one, you would already know that...it's pure amazing fun!

MV Agusta 2010 Brutale Presentation Video on YouTube

It's stylish, has nice special effects and some fantastic action shots, but it is not the latest from Hollywood. It's the MV Agusta 2010 Brutale launch video! Check it out after the link below...

MV Agusta to Announce New Model Soon

Could this be the rumored F5?! Or, will this be the confirmation of the so-called 'F3' 675c.c. triple which we saw testing on the roads of Italy? We will have to wait a few more days to know the truth. I am hopeful that this will be the 'F5' which some groups and forums have been discussing lately. In either case, I know that I will want one!

This is the first link, but I am not sure what they mean by "after a disappointing launch of a visually identical, but all "new" Brutale," as that bike has some significant design differences as well as engine changes. I guess they are not fans...

The next is a bit more 'nice.'

I am waiting anxiously...if anyone else has info, I can keep a secret. But, I hope you can't!

2010 MV Agusta Brutale 1090RR and 990R First Ride!

The title says it all, and this is only a preliminary report. However, we see that the new Brutale 1090RR is going to be the mad beast we all expect...

http://tinyurl.com/ybsgt38

The 990R is a bit twitchy - at least the one ridden by the author - and will need some smoothing for production. Even with that, and some not-so-great tires, the Brutale still lives up to its name!

You Sexy Brutale...Now With More Sex Appeal!

OK, so not sex as in reproduction, but sex as in passion and beauty. The new Brutale 990R and 1090RR are - it is hard to believe - even lovlier than the previous versions...Yes, again...

I can't wait to get mine!

Currently (no pun) At MVAgusta.net - New 2010 Brutale

It has finally been sent out - the press kit for the 2010 version of the MV Agusta Brutale! There will be a 990R and 1090RR version (above) and there are some significant improvements. As fans of the marque are aware, MV will continuously upgrade their engine and chassis throughout the machines production life, so they will always improve over time...This new beast is no exception...Have a look at those wheels, that very updated new dash, the new radiator shrouds, and the turn signals have been relocated to the mirrors as on the F4-1000 line. To an un-familiar eye, it may appear to be identical, but it is far from it!

MV Agusta Brutale Bestiale Kit Now in Black

I am still not sure I like this conversion; it looks like the Brutale is being made into a KTM given all of the straight lines and angular body panels. However, I do like the way it 'lightens' up the rear of the Brutale. Maybe it will grow on me...have a look and decide for yourself.
