First Ride: 2010 Ducati Hypermotard 796

MCN (UK) has a man in Bologna, Italy, running around on the new Hypermotard 796 and reporting back as to what its like. Apparently, it is not just a Monster 696 engine which has been bored-out; it is derived from that engine, but it is mostly an all new engine for this machine and it is actually 803c.c. in displacement. So far, the bike is much easier to ride than the 1100 version and is more friendly for new riders since it is lower, smaller and lighter.
